I've been using it on Katie for nearly two months, and over the last month since she arrived
, I've been able to use it on Victoria, too!
Go Green Diapers' Story:
Shortly after I had my third child I found myself buying diapers for 3. Not only did the costs really add up, but we were getting charged extra by the city of Boulder, CO for the ludacris amount of trash we produced. I had never considered CLOTH diapers before, but, timidly, I purchased brand-name pocket diapers at nearly $20 a pop. To my surprise, they worked spectacularly, and were nothing like the leaky, prefold things with which I was familiar. No leaks, better absorbency, they were perfect! Except for the price. There's got to be a cheaper way to get pocket diapers, I thought- and then I found them, high-quality diapers for half the price! In fabulous colors no less! I gave the pocket diapers to all my friends and they LOVED them. People kept asking me how to buy them, and that's how this website came about. I wanted to make it really easy for everyone to get these wonderful diapers. They're better for babies, better for bank accounts, and better for the environment. And, dare I say it, they make diaper changing fun! Please visit our products page to see our ginormus selection of pocket diapers.
I picked the Rock Star
print. They have lots of cute and more girly prints...but I was getting this diaper before I knew that Victoria was a girl...so I wanted to be able to use it on both kids if our baby happened to be a boy.

The Rock Star, Starbum Stardom, and Hollywood prints all have an extra snap that allows the waist tabs to be overlapped for smaller babies.

I tried this diaper on Victoria almost right away, (when she was about 7.5lbs)...it was quite bulky and just a little to large for her teeny bum. So I waited a month, (she's now about 9lbs,) and tried it again, and it's great now. I love having a diaper that I can use on either child.
It's a great one to make sure I have in the diaper bag on outings, because if I run out of one girl's diapers, I'm sure to have one that fits her...no matter which girl it is!
|On the mid-size setting|
At 24 pounds, Katie still has plenty of room to grow into the diaper. I use both inserts for her almost every time...she's a super-soaker. :-)
|Largest setting...we've got a ways to go!|
The first is the super-soft PUL. The Rock Star is one of their "Silky" prints. It's not stiff at all, like some PULs, and so I suspect it's much more comfortable to wear. And I imagine their "Fuzzy" prints are even more comfy!
The second, and most important awesome feature: the price!
At $8.99, (the Fuzzy prints are $9.99,) I have never seen a pocket diaper this cheap, especially at this level of quality! They're even cheaper at their "bundle prices
