About Snaps & Snails:

Snaps & Snails is a family run business based out of Cape Breton Island, the celtic heart of North America, in Nova Scotia, Canada. We focus mainly on innovations in cloth diapers. Not your average cloth diapers, but that are also stylish and functional. We are a fairly new company, having launched in June 2010, but are really enjoying breaking into the community and expanding into eco-friendly products for the whole family.
Our adventure into cloth diapering started when our daughter, Lily was only two months old. For the first two months of her life, we battled endless diaper rashes, and needed to find a solution to stop them from coming back. When we found out there was an option available (cloth diapers) we were overwhelmed with what to choose from and where to buy from, and what to do after we bought our diapers. Which is why we put a large focus on helping families learn about cloth diapers all in one convenient place.

Our Yo-Yoo Pocket Diapers area one sizd diaper made of rayon from organic bamboo. They come in fun, bright colors, and are very soft and plush. But don't take them at face value, when it comes to getting down and dirty, they hold strong. The bamboo is extremely absorbent, add the 4 layers of bamboo in the insert and this diaper holds up even against the wettest of the wet! The diapers have excellent quality elastics on the leg gussets, in the unlikely event a leak might happen, this help keeps everything in even more! The insert is equipped with a snap, to snap into place in the pocket, so no bunching or scrunching happens while your little one rolls, or bustles about. Pockets are a great staple of any diaper stash and these ones are not to be looked over!

Our Tetro Fitted diapers are one unique and stylish diaper you need in your stash. Made of 8 layers of cotton flannel, these are surprisingly absorbent. The most unique thing about these is the tie up waist. Not just there for looks, the tie up waist allows for a perfect fit every time. A fit that can be almost completely tailored to your babies size. These are also a one size diaper, but with no snaps, zippers or pull strings to fiddle with, a simple fold down of the front is all that is needed to make this diaper to go smaller than half it's largest size. Another unique quality these diapers possess is that they were made for Elimination Communication purposes. With the easy pull down flap (the front part of the diaper) you can easily pull it out from under the tie-waist when baby gives you her cue. And when done, simply stuff it back under the tie-waist again. Get them all cute, funky colors!

We also feature cloth diapering accessories which are as unique and stylish and these two styles of diapers, including cloth wipes, wet bags, wool diaper covers and leg warmers!
