Better for Babies $10 GC Giveaway (BBD Event)

Welcome to "Bye-Bye Diapers," an event entirely dedicated to our favorite subject ever, (or not!)

This week, Becky at Purposeful Homemaking and I will be bringing you useful information and exciting giveaways all related to potty training!

To kick off our Bye-Bye Diapers potty training event, I'm going to start with the Little Beetle Learner organic cotton velour training pants from Better for Babies!

Two layers of our favorite fair trade organic velour cotton, with a third layer tucked into the wet zone and hidden by some very sporty stitching! Our Learners are 100% natural fibers, that means no PUL or other waterproofing layer, (couple with a wool soaker short for heavy duty needs.) Designed to catch a small accident or miss while headed to the potty, the fit is trim yet contemporary. Surprisingly enough, we find these to be almost as absorbent as our diapers and thus can serve double duty if you like (for uses as a diaper, add a doubler and wold soaker short.)

We love our Little Beetle Learner! 

After using this pair regularly for more than 3 months, I have found that it works beautifully keeping little accidents in, but still letting Katie know she's wet. When we first started switching to mostly training pants or panties for her, I found that I liked these the best! 

If Katie has an accident and she's wearing only panties, usually there is a puddle on the floor by the time she says, "Mama! Potty!" With these training pants, they hold enough that I am able to get her to the potty before there's (another!) clean-up job for me!

Though I can't personally afford to have my whole potty-training equipment this high of quality at this point, (they run about $23 each,) I would LOVE to have about 12 pairs of these! I hope to gradually add to my "stash!"

They fit well and are easy on/off, they're soft and comfortable, they absorb enough for our needs, yet Katie still can tell she's wet when she's wearing them, (they're not too absorbent!) 

They're cute, and they're made of organic materials!

I like to know I'm putting safe, quality fabrics against my precious ones' skin!
