Wordless Wednesday - Diligence

Katie tackled this "task" of helping me wash the car, (with a toothbrush!) with amazing diligence for her tender years. :-)

Isn't it amazing how careful little ones are when they're doing "adult" jobs??? I have a theory - they'd probably stay that way a little longer if we just give them the time they need to complete each task. I think that, since we can't always wait all day, we tend to hurry them along and say things like, "Oh, that's OK. It doesn't need to be perfect!" It can lead to that attitude where they do half a job by the time they turn 8 and you're lucky to get them to do anything at all when they're 13! LOL
